About our Tasting Room:
+ Where is the Tasting Room and how do I get there?
Our Tasting Room is located at 175 Van Dyke St. Pier 41 Suite 325A in Brooklyn. Our main entrance is on the South Side of the Liberty Warehouse building. You can walk, bike, bus, drive or ferry here! Complimentary parking for 175 Van Dyke visitors is located at the top of the pedestrian pier entrance.
+ When are you open?
Our Tasting Room is open Monday, Thursday, and Sunday from 12pm to 7pm and Friday-Saturday from 12pm to 9pm.
+ What can I do at the Tasting Room?
We offer curated tasting experiences, barrel room & winery tours, flights, glasses, and bottles of our wine. For more info, click on our "Visit" tab.
+ How do your tastings work?
Our Private Tasting Experience is a seated, guided tasting of six different wines from our monthly rotating tasting menu led by our knowledgeable staff. In between sips, you'll learn about our wines, winemakers, the winery, how we operate, and more! Tasting guests also receive a 10% discount on any retail bottle purchase both in-store & online. For more info, click on our "Visit" tab.
+ How do I book a tasting?
Click on our “Visit” tab, select “Tasting Room”, and select either "Reserve a Table" or "Book a Tasting" to see our full calendar of availability. Reservation slots become open and bookable on the first of every month, for the following month. All reservations are booked online and are paid for in full at the time of booking.
+ Can I reserve a table if I don't want to participate in a tasting?
Yes! You are now able to reserve a table to enjoy flights, glasses, and bottles of wine without the full tasting experience. The cost is $20 per person and your credits will be applied to your final bill. For more info, click on our “Visit” tab.
+ Can I visit without a reservation?
If you do not want to join us for a reservable tasting experience, walk-ins are welcome on a first-come, first-served basis. Our walk-in sections include an indoor area with mixed tables, chairs & high-top barrels with bar stools, and an outdoor area with high-top barrels and bar stools only. Walk-in experiences are subject to the operations/discretion of the winery at the time of your visit.
+ How do I cancel or modify a reservation?
Cancelling or modifying a reservation must be completed at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled visit in order to be fully refundable. Once that window has passed, we are no longer able to reschedule or refund your reservation for any reason. We apologize for any inconvenience.
To cancel, change the time of, or change the party size of a reservation, call us at (347) 689-2432 or email manager@redhookwinery.com.
+ Can we take a glass of wine home?
Yes! We have to-go crowlers (canned growlers) available for any of our wines on draft. These twist top crowlers come in different sizes and last up to two weeks when sealed properly. Bring back your empty crowler on your next visit for a $2 re-fill discount.
+ Do you serve other drinks besides wine, and are there non-alcoholic options?
We offer Brooklyn tap water to keep you hydrated! We also have sparkling water, a couple mocktails, and specialty sodas available for purchase.
+ Do you serve food?
We have several light snack options available for purchase including cheese & charcuterie, olives, hummus, truffle chips, olive oil & sea salt chips, corn nuts, and more!
+ Can I bring in outside food?
No, but there are many amazing restaurants in the Red Hook area! Enjoy a delicious meal before or after your visit to our Tasting Room!
+ Do you host private events?
Semi-private events are booked on a case-by-case basis. We do not have a fully private room on site. We are not properly equipped to host large-scale events (weddings, rehearsal dinners, etc.). We also do not entertain buyout event options unless it's on a day we are normally closed for business (Tuesday & Wednesday). Email all inquiries to events@redhookwinery.com
+ Are kids allowed?
While we do recommend leaving the kids home with a sitter, we understand that it's not always possible. Children are welcome to accompany their parents if the adults are walk-ins or have reserved a Private Tasting Table or a general Table Reservation. However, they must remain seated or in a stroller during the entire tasting experience. Children are not permitted in the Tasting Table due to limited capacity.
+ Are you dog-friendly?
Yes! Dog friends are welcome both indoors and outdoors.
+ Are you wheelchair accessible?
Yes!
